TF Value-Mart has its beginnings as a Chinese medical shop in Bentong, Pahang. The Company first started operations as Chop Tong Fatt in 1957. Since then the Company has evolved through the years as a mini-market, departmental store and today as a thriving chain of hypermarket-concept outlets. We have adapted our retail format to meet changing consumer needs and will continue to do so to deliver the best value to our Customers. TF is abbreviated from “Thoong Fatt” which in Mandarin means to prosper together. And this has been the guiding principle in the Company’s conduct of its business. Our business philosophy is to ensure the best value for our Customers by working closely with our business partners to achieve this.
